In June 2006 Auswind received funding from the Department of Enviornment and Heritage, Australian Greenhouse Office, to develop an Accreditation Scheme for the wind energy industry in Australia.

This project is now underway with documentation for the planning phase of a wind farm development drafted, and scheme guidelines and specifications being established.
