Auswind 2007 Thank You
The Auswind 2007 conference and exhibition was an enormous success and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our sponsors, exhibitors,
speakers and all the delegates whom attended for your participation and support, it is greatly appreciated and contributed to the overall success of
the event.
As you would be aware, this was the last national wind energy conference to be convened under the Auswind banner. However, we are extremely excited
about next year's event that will be broadened to cover all renewable energy technologies under the one Clean Energy Council umbrella. We will
continue to build on the success of previous conferences with the aim of positioning our new national conference as the sole leading renewable
energy event in Australia.
The Clean Energy Council will continue to strongly represent the interests of the wind energy sector whilst also representing other sectors that
make up the renewable energy industry.
The Council will continue to inform political representatives and the wider community that wind energy industry is a leading mainstream proven
technology that can provide immediate solutions to climate change. The Council is committed to lobbying government during the election campaign to
ensure the right government policy is enacted to secure investment certainty and continued commercialisation of the industry over the longer
term.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to participate in the inaugural Clean Energy Council 2008 national conference and
exhibition and to encourage those in the industry to support the event. Dates and venue details will be announced shortly.
